SERD Sustainability Awards
Amid the urgent and shared challenges of sustainable development, there exists a critical need for increased international collaboration and transparent sharing of knowledge. Recognizing that today’s youth hold the key to shaping the future of businesses and technology, the Society for Education and Research Development (SERD) has launched the SERD Sustainability Awards.
This prestigious award is designed to inspire adherence to sustainability principles, while fostering innovation and uninhibited exploration. It seeks to recognize individuals playing pivotal roles in leading the way towards a sustainable future. The SERD Sustainability Award honors the outstanding achievements of individuals who have made significant contributions to sustainable development and advancing human civilization.
Award Categories
Each category aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs):
- People Well-being
UN-SDG 1, 2, 3 - Human Capital
UN-SDG 4, 16 - Equality and Women Empowerment
UN-SDG 5, 10 - Sustainable Environment
UN-SDG 6, 13 - Natural Resources Management
UN-SDG 7, 14, 15 - Economic Growth
UN-SDG 8, 12 - Innovation and Industrial Development
UN-SDG 9, 11 - Collaborative CSR

Nomination Criteria
- Contributions must demonstrate significant impact on sustainable development.
- Achievements should be well-documented and verifiable.
- Nominees must show creative potential and must not have received similar SERD awards in the past three years.
- Self-nominations are accepted.
- Governing Council and jury members are not eligible for nomination.
Entry Regulations and Guidelines
- Entries must be submitted online before the deadline.
- Submissions must match the relevant award category.
- Content must be in English and appropriate for a general audience.
- Each entry must include a comprehensive summary, CV, and supporting documents such as:
- Summary of achievements (250 words)
- Research publications (if applicable)
- Patents, design certificates, and project details (if applicable)
- Participants are solely responsible for ensuring originality and compliance with intellectual property laws.
Key Dates
- Submission Deadline: March 31, 2025
- Evaluation by Jury: April 1–14, 2025
- Results Announcement: April 15, 2025 (Virtual)
- Awards Presentation: June 16–17, 2025, at the 8th International Conference on CSR and Sustainable Development, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Nomination Fee
There is no nomination fee for the awards
Award Presentation
Winners will be invited to participate in the annual International Conference on CSR and Sustainable Development. They will receive complimentary conference registration but must arrange their own travel and stay.
